They behave like legitimate automation tools, which means their actions often appear completely normal in monitoring systems. Security tools may see:

But they cannot easily determine whether the AI agent was manipulated or operating maliciously. This makes AI-driven data leaks extremely difficult to detect.

These controls help prevent accidental or malicious data exposure.

The productivity gains are real. But so are the risks.

AI agents introduce a completely new category of security challenges because they combine automation, system access, and decision-making capabilities.
